One Saturday we decided to visit Kolomenskya Park. The weather was great and we wanted to see one of the beautiful parks in Russia. We saw churches and a palace, noticed a horse and carriage, were amazed at their "stick" fences, had a picture taken with a lady in her traditional costume, enjoyed the view of the Moscow River, strolled forever through the apple orchard (it was planted for the "people"), and tried to find the wooden building that we were told was in the park. We loved the day but could not find the building. Just before we left the park on our way to the metro we found the wooden building. That will be an adventure for another day!

The fence looks tedious to construct. Do you think it was a "punishment" or did it serve a useful function. Thanks for showing us all your outings. I'm ready for an outing myself.
What an interesting fence. The grass is so green. What a fun day
