brooms

When the snow started to melt, I noticed the men that had been shoveling the snow and breaking the ice were now sweeping the sidewalks and all of the plazas. The brooms they were using were not like any brooms that I had seen before (except maybe on halloween). The brooms looked home made with a handle and a bunch of twigs tied around the top of them to keep them connected. Whatever they look like, the brooms work great!
