Sofia and her replacement Irena. Sofia left for BYU in December 2010.

Marina in her warm hat with her beautiful smile on a VERY COLD day!

Acia is getting married so she will not be working in the Area office anymore. Her marriage will be one of the first in the new Kyiv Temple. She is singing at the dedication on Sunday August 29, 2010 and then on September 1, 2010 she will be married in a government office in the morning and then sealed to her husband in the afternoon in the temple. Because she is leaving the office, Jim bought her three bottles of cranberry Schweppes and three bags of Lays potato chips. She loved these and would always eat ours when we were having them for lunch. The people at the office don't by chips and soda pop because it's not HEALTHY! We quickly added these two items to the food chart (on the bullitin board in the break room) and told them they were a necessary part of a balanced meal!

Good bye party for Rick. We had an office lunch at Il'Patio and gave him a police stick called a ghezel (it is black and white) because he had been pulled over 40 times since coming to Russia. The boys gave him a Tshirt with their pictures on it.

Yri, Alexander, Vladimir, Denis, Rachel, Marilee, and Rick, Jim and I are behind the camera

Kyiv Temple hankie for Marina (who is always taking me somewhere fun, buying tickets at a less expensive price, or giving me something wonderful) and Acia (who is getting married in the Kyiv Temple on September 1, 2010).

McDonalds lunch Jim, Vladimir, Yuri, Denis, Rick (leaving), Bob (taking his place), and Alexander. I am taking the picture, of course!

Kvas...they say this is like our root beer. I don't think so. It tastes like yeast and is probably like the old homemade root beer everyone used to make without the dry ice and without the root beer flavoring.

Henry Kosac is over all of the CES in the Europe East Area. He is from Germany and knows the name of Tadje very well.

Looks like the kind of office I could get use to working in. Do they always kickback like that? :)
